What a delightful and intriguing match awaits us at the Moon Studio Asian Showdown. LBZS will play with Dragon and I can't wait to see what and how, and what can go wrong in this fight.
Basically, absolutely everything. Let's start with the fact that the tournament is clearly not of the highest quality and is far from being played by the grandees (but for some reason IG were invited and immediately into the playoffs).
Let's continue with the fact that not the strongest teams play even on the TIR 2-stage. There are no complaints about LBZS, but Dragon.
Dragon form
If we have already thrown the bait, then we will continue. Dragon is a very interesting team.
Interesting not for its performance, which is unremarkable. Not by their results, which, in fact, are also far from ideal. The team bribes others - by the presence of a cheater inside the squad.
Or maybe not even one. Recently, Dragon received a technical defeat in the second division of the DPC, as they are already preparing to play in a local tournament.
I don’t know, maybe the organizers from Moon Studio didn’t know who to invite, but the presence of the recently fined team is somehow surprising. Not only was it fined for potential cheating, but also showing poor results.
The results of the last 5 meetings Dragon
- Lost to CDEC 0-2
- Lost to Team MagMa with a score of 0-2
- Lost to LBZS 0-2
- Lose at Xtreme Gaming 0-2
- Demon Slayer 0-2 defeat
Dragon's recent results are very telling. I don’t know how a team with a cheater can lose everything, but we will not figure it out.
LBZS form
In principle, there are no complaints about LBZS. The team honestly plays in the second division of the DPC from China and is doing well.
They are on the second line, having behind them a victory over CDEC and every chance of getting into the TOP-2 at the end of the season. Not surprisingly, the organizers of the Moon Studio Asian Showdown wanted to see a top division team with some experience playing with the best at their tournament.
Results of last 5 matches LBZS
- Demon Slayer 2-0 victory
- Defeat from Aster.Aries with a score of 1-2
- Defeat Xtreme Gaming 2-1
- Technical victory over Dragon with a score of 2-0
- Defeat CDEC 2-0
As we can see, LBZS are doing great. They are able to play both with outsiders like Demon Slayer and with teams of a higher class like CDEC.
Personal meeting history
The teams have had time to meet with each other more than once in various tournaments during the season. In 4 official matches, 3 were won by LBZS.
The latter, however, was a technical victory, and therefore it should not be regarded as an important achievement.
Match outcome
I undertook to analyze this match because it seems to me very interesting and, most importantly, suspicious and strange. Basically, any subsequent match with Dragon will appear that way.
I will say right away - it is very dangerous to bet on this. But since I have already rolled a mountain of text, then I will make a bet.
Outcome: victory for LBZS
