The teams haven’t met yet as Winstrike has been created more recently and visited only three LAN tournaments.

Newbee, the vice-champion of the previous World Championship, is a very strong team, however, the guys have been playing with a variable success in the season. In the group stage of The International 2018, the team held the fifth place in the group due to rematches - Newbee, Team Secret, and OpTic Gaming had eight victories and eight losses on their scores and Newbee lost both rematches.

In its turn, Winstrike was one of the underdogs of the championship and the group stage only confirms this status as Iceberg and the company managed to earn a slot in the playoffs only in the rematch against Invictus Gaming. In general, Winstrike achieved only four victories in 16 matches.

Bookmakers consider Newbee to be a favorite of the match and offer odds in the sum of 1.5 for their victory, while Winstrike’s triumph is evaluated as 2.4. We are of the bookmakers’ opinion and think too that Moogy and the company have more chances to win, however, it’s not worth to write off the Russian team as they are in a good moral state now and a bo1 format adds a bit of randomness.
