There, the team was drawn in Group A, where the Evil Geniuses played extremely consistently, finishing on a streak of seven draws. This result allowed the team to enter the tiebreaker series against Tundra Esports and Team Secret. After winning two bo1 matches, Matthew and the teammates qualified for the second group stage. The 3-4 stats secured the Peruvians sixth place and $47,500 in prize money.
