Roman «RAMZES666» Kushnarev is one of the strongest representatives of the CIS region of the competitive Dota 2. Being a teenager, Roman started to play for the strongest organization of the region. Beginning of Career
Like many professional gamers, RAMZES666 started his journey to the esports top long before he got to the professional organization. Since he was a child, Roman devoted plenty of time to computer games and succeeded in them. It is not surprising that consequently they become real work for him.
The first club for RAMZES666 was Courage Gaming. There the gamer spent only one month and moved to ScaryFaceZ. But this collective did not meet his expectations. In September 2015, the gamer moved to CIS Rejects. Having played there for three months, RAMZES666 was known in all CIS countries.
His hard work and level of gaming was noticed by everybody. In December 2015, he joined Team Spirit. Together with the team, RAMZES666 got to the major tournament for the first time. It was The Shanghai Major. Even though Team Spirit failed at the championship taking 13-16 place, RAMZES666 showed a good level of gaming.
In March 2016, he became a gamer of Team Empire. This team got to the second major tournament – The Manila Major 2016. There the esportsman took 9-12 place when the team got beaten by LGD Gaming. In July 2017, RAMZES666 and his team won Global Grand Masters.
RAMZES666’s results were great for the region that was going through not the best times. In August 2016, RAMZES666 became a Virtus.Pro gamer.
Virtus.Pro and Worldwide Fame
When the esportsman joined VP in August 2016, RAMZES666’s career boosted. In April 2017, he and his team took second place at The Kiev Major 2017. That year also brought the team victories at several insignificant tournaments and after that the gamers got a direct invitation to The International 2017. At the championship RAMZES666 and his team got defeated by the champions Team Liquid and took 5-6 place. But it did not break down the team.
In October 2017, the team won ESL One Hamburg 2017, and three months later they became the champions at ESL One Katowice 2018. In March 2018, RAMZES666 won The Bucharest Major. Two months later VP won ESL One Birmingham and in June 2016 the gamers became the second finalists at China Dota2 Supermajor. At TI8, the team could not meet the fans’ expectations and again took 5-6 place.
Three months later, in November 2018, the team won The Kuala Lumpur Major. After that the team’s results declined. Nevertheless, RAMZES666 continued playing for VP.
They took second place at DreamLeague Season 11 in March 2019 and third place at EPICENTER Major 2019. At the upcoming TI9, VP showed the worst result and left the tournament on 9-12 position.
In September 2019, RAMZES666 left VP. The same month brought him a chance to play for Evil Geniuses.
EG and Individual Achievements
When the gamer joined EG, RAMZES666 started a new chapter in his esports career. The team took fourth place at MDL Chengdu Major in November 2019 and second place at ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore in December 2019. In January 2020, RAMZES666 and his team took second place at DreamLeague Season 13 and in March 2020, third place at DOTA Summit 12.
RAMZES666 became the champion World Electronic Sports Games 2017 as a member of Team Russia. He took part in commercials of worldwide famous brands many times. In his career, the esportsman earned over 1,796,000 dollars of prize money.
