Fear and ppd face off against Evil Geniuses in the first leg of the 2021 DPC North America Upper Division

Beyond The Summit, DPC 2021 North America Upper Division officials have unveiled the schedule and group stage matchups. On January 24, Fear and ppd will face off against Evil Geniuses. This meeting is especially interesting because the aforementioned esportsmen previously performed under the EG tag. Moreover, as part of Evil Geniuses, the players became champions of The International 2015. Now Fear and ppd are playing under the Sadboys tag.

As for EGs themselves, the players of this roster will play their debut duel against 4 Zoomers.

DPC 2021 North America Upper Division will run from January 18 to February 27. The total prize pool for DPC 2021 North America Upper Division will be $ 205,000 and two invites to the Major tournament. The winner of the event will earn a playoff slot for the Major championship, while the vice-champion will go to the group

In parallel with the upper division, there will be meetings in the lower division, which will take place from January 18 to February 27. The total prize pool of the tournament will be $ 75,000. The two finalists will advance to the top division of DPC Season 2 in 2021. The winner will take home the top prize of $ 17,000 and the silver medalist $ 16,000.
