At DreamLeague Season 23, several prominent teams were eliminated in the group stage, including Team Liquid, Natus Vincere (NAVI), Shopify Rebellion, and PSG.Quest. This phase of the tournament featured intense competition, with teams divided into two groups of six, competing in a round-robin format where all matches were best of two.

In Group A, Gaimin Gladiators and Xtreme Gaming topped the standings, while Team Liquid and PSG.Quest failed to advance. Liquid finished with a record of 1-2-3, placing fifth, and PSG.Quest ended in sixth with 0-2-3.

In Group B, Team Falcons and Tundra Esports led the group, with Shopify Rebellion and NAVI both being eliminated. Shopify Rebellion finished with 0-3-2, placing fifth, and NAVI ended with 1-1-3, placing sixth.

This group stage elimination is significant as it means these teams will not move forward to the playoffs, cutting their journey in this major tournament short.

The tournament operator ESL has announced plans to organize DreamLeague Season 23, which will feature some of the top Dota 2 teams competing for a total prize pool of $1,000,000. The tournament is part of the DreamLeague series and will take place online, showcasing intense competition among elite teams from around the world.
