The South American team Thunder Awaken announced that Alone will stand-in at the upcoming PGL Arlington Major 2022. The 17-year-old Peruvian player will replace DarkMago in the roster, who did not manage to get a visa before the start of the event.

We are officially announcing that our stand-in at the Major will be Alone. We appreciate your willingness to support our team.

Alone spent the last year with Infamous, taking second place at DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I and DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final.

Recall that Thunder Awaken will start its journey at PGL Major Arlington 2022 with a technical defeat. The team will be credited with an autolose against Talon Esports, as Pakazs, Sacred, and Coach Vintage will only receive visas to the United States on August 4, the day the event kicks off.

In the last week alone, the number of participants who failed to obtain visas has increased several times. A little earlier, the Chinese team Xtreme Gaming withdrew from the championship, having decided to skip PGL Arlington Major 2022 after the visa difficulties of their carry. The Enity team, which will play with SabeRLight-, is left without the main first position.

The Fnatic team is also experiencing its difficulties, which will perform at PGL Arlington Major 2022 with three stand-ins. A forced replacement will also take place for Royal Never Give Up, which has enlisted the support of ana. In addition, Talon Esports, which invited Xepher from T1 as a stand-in, will have to play with the replacement. The favorite was not without changes, as OG had to invite Ceb again.
