PGL announced the results of the PGL Arlington Major 2022 draw

Tournament operator PGL has released information about the seeding of teams by groups in the upcoming Dota 2 Major tournament, PGL Arlington Major 2022.

Group A includes Royal Never Give Up, Outsiders, Thunder Awaken, Team Liquid, Talon Esports, Quincy Crew, OG, Fnatic and PSG.LGD. Group B will feature Tundra Esports, BOOM Esports, Evil Geniuses, Team Aster, NAVI, beastcoast, Team Spirit and Entity.

Initially, players from Xtreme Gaming were also expected in Group B, however, the latter recently announced their withdrawal from participation in the tournament. In addition, Entity's Pure revealed that he was never given permission to enter the US, and therefore Entinty will perform with Timado at the event. Fnatic will take part at all with three substitutions.

PGL Arlington Major 2022 will take place August 4-14 in North America at Esports Stadium Arlington. The total prize fund of the championship will be $500,000. Seventeen participants of the last Major tournament will compete for the champion title, 820 rating points of the DPC 2021/2022 season, which will help them get to The International 2022.
