Dota 2 Champions League Season 13 Announced

Tournament operator Epic Esports Events announced the thirteenth season of the Dota 2 Champions League. The championship will be held from July 9 to August 3. Tournament participants, as usual, will share the total prize pool of $50,000, and the main reward will be $20,000.

Last season, 12 teams were invited to the group stage, while 2 teams went through open qualifiers. Also, four squads were honored to be invited directly to the playoffs. How quotas will be distributed in this tournament will be known later.

Already now there is information about holding open qualifiers. Registration for the qualifiers is already open and will last until July 9th.

Dota 2 Champions League Season 12 is underway right now. KBU.US, 11Monkeyz, cybercas and HYDRA have already completed their path in the championship, taking 9-12th place and receiving prizes of $500, as well as X3, KEKWait, FERZI, EU Rejects, SURIM PRASAD and Team Empire, who were left without cash rewards.

Entity, Virtus.pro, Team Unique, Gaimin Gladiators, Luna Gaming, YNT, HF and Ooredoo Thunders remained in the fight for the championship in the tournament.
