DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3: events digest for 14.06
Ihor MatusYesterday's game day gave us the opportunity to look at some really interesting confrontations, even if they were not very intriguing. After an abundance of fights in the second division of various regions, Dota 2 fans already miss the Tier-1 teams, and therefore yesterday was a good day for them.
Western Europe
Division I
In this division, OG and Tundra, as well as Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators, fought against each other. OG surprisingly failed to take a single map in the fight against Tundra Esports, even though we assumed that they would win. Team Liquid, in turn, expectedly prevailed in the fight against Gaimin Gladiators.

Now Tundra Esports are in the status of a favorite and are in first place with a score of 2-0. By the way, they won both matches without losing a single map, which makes them an iron favorite. OG, in turn, share the second line with Entity, goonsquad, Liquid and Team Secret. Gaimin Gladiators share the 7th position with Alliance. Both teams took part in two matches and lost two of them.

Division II
There was only one match in the second division. In it, KuroKy with his teammates from Nigma Galaxy fought with representatives of DGG Esports and won an easy victory with a score of 2-0.

This alignment of events brought Nigma Galaxy to the second leaders of the group stage table. Now the team shares the first line with Into The Breach. The latter also gained 2 victories in duels, however, unlike Nigma Galaxy, they lost one map in each of the matches. DGG is now tied for 3rd place with Brame and Team Bald Reborn.

China
Division I
There were two confrontations in the top division of the Chinese region. In the first of them, Aster.Aries defeated Xtreme Gaming with a score of 2-0. The second match between Vici Gaming and Team Aster marked the victory of Vici Gaming with a 2-1 result.

As a result, Aster Aries earned their first victory and seven out of eight participants share the first line, since they all have one victory each. Royal Never Give Up is so far the only team that has not managed to earn a single victory in the ongoing competitions, however, they took part in only one match.

Southeast Asia
Division II
In the lower division in Southeast Asia, Neon Esports tried to take the victory from Atlantis, but nothing came of them. One taken card and defeat by the end. The fight was interesting and intriguing, but the triumph went to Atlantis.

The situation in the second division in Southeast Asia is the same as in China. All teams except Neon Esports have one victory each and then share the first place with seven teams.

North America
Division I
In the top division, there was a match between Evil Geniuses and Wildcard Gaming. Not everyone was sure of the victory of Evil Geniuses, since a black streak of failures has been stretching behind this team lately. After Fly joined the team, the debut match was also unsuccessful, but the confrontation with Wildcard Gaming showed that the team does not intend to give up. Fly with his teammates won with a score of 2-0 and did not lose to his opponents on any map.

Now, Evil Geniuses has one win and one loss, which put this team on the second line of the group stage table on a par with Quincy Crew, TSM and Wildcard Gaming. The Nouns are still in 1st place at 2-0, with 5RATFORCESTAFF, felt and The Cut tied for sixth place as the team with no wins in the tournament.

As a reminder, DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3 runs from June 6 to July 15, 2022. In the first division of each region, $205,000, 1150 DPC points are up for grabs to qualify for The International 11, as well as slots for the PGL Arlington Major. In the second division of each region, teams compete for $75,000 and 2 places in the first division.
