DPC 2021/2022 SEA Tour 3 Division I: Talon Esports started their journey with a victory
Ihor MatusThe first match of the DPC 2021/2022 SEA Tour 3 Division I has come to an end. In it, Talon Esports and Polaris showed an interesting game that was not limited to two maps and kept the intrigue to the very end.
On the first map, Talon Esports made the most of the power of their Monkey King and Ember Spirit, which were played by carries and mid laners, respectively. If for the first 2 minutes the favorite of the meeting was not visible, then from the next minutes Talon Esports began to actively impose their game on the opponents and push through the lines. At the 38th minute, Polaris were defeated. 23savage and Mikoto finished the game without a single death, and their statistics were 12-0-7 and 12-0-11 respectively. The map ended 31-14 in favor of Talon.
On the second map, the game went according to a completely different scenario. There, Polaris slightly modified their approach to business and relied this time on the power of the mobile hero Nature's Prophet. There Natsumi, who played on NP, finished the map with a score of 14-2-16. The most interesting moment in the game was the fight at the 30th minute, when more than 10 heroes were killed during the fight, which does not happen very often on the professional scene. At the same time, Polaris went far ahead of their rivals, increasing the distance with them by 8000 earned gold. The map ended after 42 and a half minutes with a score of 36-19 in favor of Polaris.
After losing the second map, Talon Esports worked on their mistakes and approached the final match with a fresh head and changed their pick, this time betting on Medusa and Storm Spirit. 23savage and Mikoto once again put in a great performance and finished the map with 9-0-13 and 11-1-14 stats. Talon Esports immediately took the situation into their own hands and “kept a tight rein” on their opponents until the very end of the map. It was completed in 41 minutes and ended 33-13 in favor of Talon Esports. Thus, the debut match of the DPC 2021/2022 SEA Tour 3 Division I ended in victory for Talon. They now top the group stage standings and have the best chance of reaching the playoffs.
