Fnatic Rising and Astralis Talent face each other in the first playoff match of the WePlay Academy League Season 5. The teams will compete for reaching the final of the upper bracket. Experts from bookmakers believe that this match will be intriguing and could hardly decide on the favorite of the meeting. Representatives of Fnatic Rising have a slight advantage with a win odd of 1.75. This means that the bookmakers estimate the probability of this team winning at 53%, which is not a very big advantage. I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the current game form of the participants in more detail in order to be able to understand how it would be better to bet in this case.
Fnatic Rising Game Uniform
Fnatic Rising is currently ranked 58th in the top of the best CS:GO teams in the world according to HLTV. The team as a whole, although it did not show the most stable performance in the current championship, however, nevertheless, was able to show excellent results that coincided with my expectations. The Europeans became one of the first participants in the playoffs due to good results in the group stage. The team played in Group A and was able to beat not only NAVI Junior and Team Spirit Academy, but also outperformed the Astralis Talent team, which they will face in the next match. Having taken the first line, the team missed the Play-In stage and this can be both good for the team and bad. It's bad because Astralis Talent, unlike Fnatic Rising, experienced the thrill of playing in the match against NAVI Junior in the Play-In, and are already mentally prepared for the first match in the final stage.
Paying attention to the Fnatic Rising matches played in the group stage of WePlay Academy League Season 5, it should be noted that both matches against Astralis Talent ended in victory for the Danes. The reason for this can be as simple as luck and better playing form, or a less obvious factor in the form of the language the players speak. When five Danes communicate in their mother tongue, the teamwork is likely to be better than with a European mix that is forced to speak English to each other.
Astralis Talent has become a stumbling block for Fnatic Rising and this scenario may repeat itself. It is also important that the matches were lost in Bo1 series, while now the teams will have to fight in a match up to two victories.
The selection of cards from Fnatic Rising is quite good and extensive. Teams play best on Overpass, where they have a 100% win rate. It is fair to say that they played there twice, but Vertigo and Inferno, where they performed 5 and 13 times respectively, are already attracting more interest. Such extensive performance experience gives a more accurate picture of what is happening and in the case of Vertigo, the team has a high percentage of wins - 80.0%. However, the real ace up Fnatic Rising's sleeve is Inferno with her 76.9% win rate. 10 wins and 3 losses is an interesting figure.

Astralis Talent Game Uniform
As mentioned earlier, Astralis Talent is the only team that was able to seriously interfere with the players from Fnatic Rising in the group stage. The Danish team was the only one who beat the Europeans twice in the group stage. The first time it was done with a score of 10-16, and the second time with a score of 14-16. Both times the match was won on the Nuke map. In fact, the 72nd team in the top from HLTV is the Fnatic Rising kryptonite, which can again interfere with the plans of the European team, however, the fact that the upcoming match will be played in the Bo3 format, not Bo1, is on the side of the latter.
Here it is worth paying attention to the map pool of teams.
Astralis Talent's Ancient is flawless and has a 100% win rate. It is noteworthy that only 3 maps were played there, however, this is also an indicator. Nuke, in turn, has an 80% win rate with five games played, and Mirage with 11 meetings shows that Astralis Talent also perform well there and win in 63.6% of cases. The last match there took place, by the way, on August 10 against Natus Vincere, where the Danes first led with a score of 9-1, and then were defeated, failing to take a round in the second half. Vertigo looks like another map where Astralis Talent can do well. There, recently, the Danes performed seven times and won four times, which gives 57.1% of victories.
In general, the Danish team looks like a serious opponent who has every chance of winning the fight against Fnatic Rising and I do not quite agree with the opinion of the expert from bookmakers. However, their choice in favor of the Europeans is explained by the fact that the team reached the playoffs directly and is a couple of dozen positions higher in the world rankings than their opponents.

Head to head matches between Fnatic Rising and Astralis Talent
Bo1 matches took place on August 2 and 5 on Nuke cards. They ended with a score of 16-10 and 16-14 respectively.
Conclusion
The conclusion here is that the teams will most likely lead a tight fight that can take place on three maps. Although deep in my heart I believe in the victory of Astralis Talent, and if I made a choice in favor of one of the participants, I would rather stop at the victory of the Danes, but, nevertheless, I consider the choice with total cards to be the most suitable here.
Unfortunately for Fnatic Rising Astralis Talent, it is highly likely that Inferno will be the first to be banned, after which the Europeans will block Nuke, on which they were defeated twice in the fight against Astralis Talent, or Ancient, where the Danes are just monsters. After that, Fnatic Rising will pick Vertigo where they win, and Astralis Talent's pick will fall to Nuke/Ancient depending on what their opponents ban earlier. Overpass will be next in the ban and the teams will most likely ban Dust 2 as well, ending the match on Mirage.
All this suggests that the teams will easily break through the Total of played cards 2.5 and take part in a full-fledged Bo3 match, and the reward for this market is quite high - 1.87 (depending on the bookmaker). In addition, I will most likely try my luck and bet on the exact score 2-1 in favor of Astralis Talent. The coefficient for this outcome is equal to 3.60.
