Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Shakes Up CS2 Tournament with Live Audience Restrictions and X-Ray Ban

The organizers of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 for CS2 have implemented partial restrictions on live audience access at the tournament venue. This decision was confirmed by MOUZ representatives on social media.

Additionally, Perfect World has disabled the X-Ray feature for player models during certain critical moments in matches. This measure aims to prevent spectators in the arena from giving players unauthorized hints during high-pressure situations.

The X-Ray feature, which highlights player model outlines, is a tool designed to provide a clear view of their positions. While it is fully available in game replays and tournament broadcasts, its temporary deactivation ensures a fairer competitive environment during live matches.
