On the eve of the European RMR qualifiers, the brother of FaZe Clan player Finn "karrigan" Andersen passed away.
On November 19, 2024, karrigan tweeted about losing a close family member just days before the European RMR qualifiers for the PW Shanghai Major 2024 in Counter-Strike 2. He shared how difficult it was to cope with the loss during the stressful moments of the tournament.

The player took a short break to recover and attend his brother’s funeral. Despite this, karrigan confirmed in his tweet that he plans to compete in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, the year’s biggest tournament.
