In the ESL Pro League Season 18's Group D, Lynn Vision and Team Liquid clashed for the second time, this time in the last chance bracket, following their recent meeting in the lower bracket. In contrast to their one-sided initial encounter, this rematch in the group stage proved to be a much more thrilling battle.

Team Liquid Prevails in Thrilling Rematch Against Lynn Vision in ESL Pro League Season 18 1

The veto process mirrored their first meeting, but Lynn Vision had clearly done their homework since their prior loss, making significant progress on the Anubis T side, securing two more rounds than their previous series.

The match appeared to be in Lynn Vision's favor as they reached match point in the 28th round. However, Liquid managed to force overtime, where their experience shone through. They secured the victory in the first OT, with a final score of 19-17.

The series then shifted to Ancient, Team Liquid's map choice, where the two teams previously met in a match that ended 16-6. This time, Lynn Vision put up a strong defense and reached double digits, despite a demoralizing clutch by Keith "NAF" Markovic in the seventh round.

In the second half, Team Liquid dominated on the defense, and Lynn Vision struggled to mount a strong T side. They fell three rounds short of victory, with a final score of 13-16.
