DreamHack reported both the transfer of the championship online and the change in the prize pool with the name of the event. Now we will be watching DreamHack Masters Spring 2020, and the participants will share the amount of $ 300,000, not $ 250,000 as previously assumed.

DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 starts on May 19 and ends on June 14. In online competitions 32 teams from 4 regions will compete.

Despite being ported online, DreamHack promised to continue hosting the Masters LAN tournaments and seasonal championships. This will be done after the end of the coronavirus epidemic, when again it will be possible to hold mass events.

DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 as part of the ESL Pro Tour series will be the last championship where EPT points will be played before the start of the next Masters tournament, ESL One Cologne 2020. It is due to be held July 6-12.

An additional 8 will be added to the 24 existing participants, which will be determined through closed qualifications. Details about them will be known later.
