The teams Imperial Esports and Complexity Gaming left IEM Dallas 2022. According to the results of the matches of the lower bracket of the championship, the teams lost to Team Liquid (0:2) and Ninjas in Pajamas (0:2), respectively, thus putting their ambitions on the back burner. In turn, Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pajamas made it to the semi-finals of the lower bracket, where they will compete for a place in the IEM Dallas 2022 playoffs.

Imperial Esports — Team Liquid

The first meeting of the game day started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. But if Imperial Esports had the initiative at the start, then closer to the changeover, the North Americans managed to wake up, demonstrating a series of won rounds. After the side switch, Team Liquid continued to stick to their line, quickly getting a map point. Despite all the Brazilians' attempts to win back, the North American team confidently closed the opponent's pick and took the lead in the series — 16:9.

Then the teams moved to the Vertigo map, the first half of which again passed with the overwhelming superiority of Team Liquid. At the same time, the North Americans again closed the first half with a score of 11:4, having actually resolved all issues in advance. Nevertheless, Team Liquid, having won the pistol round, finally closed the intrigue, thus securing the first victory in this tournament — 16:9.

Complexity Gaming - Ninjas in Pajamas

The parallel meeting started on the Vertigo map, which became the choice of the North Americans from Complexity Gaming. At the same time, the Swedes already in the first half began to recoup for yesterday's defeat from BIG, closing the side with a two-fold advantage. After the side switch, the North Americans did not manage to wake up, while the Ninjas in Pajamas players got the required number of rounds and took the lead - 16:9.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the peak of Ninjas in Pajamas. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, as the North Americans converted the won pistol round, having managed to prevent a failure. However, after the side switch, the Swedes joined the game, confidently playing half of the game on defense, thus knocking out Complexity Gaming from the championship — 16:12.
