Format of the VALORANT Challengers Ascension 2023: EMEA

The tournament will start with a group stage, which will be presented in a Round Robin format. As a result, the participants will be divided into two groups with four matches each. All group stage matches will be played in BO3 format (up to two wins).

The top two teams from each group will advance to the play-offs - this phase of the championship will be played in a Double-Elimination format.

All matches in the decisive phase of the championship will be played in BO3 format. The exceptions are the lower net finals and the grand final, which will be played in BO5 format (up to three wins).

Regional representation at VALORANT Challengers Ascension 2023: EMEA

Ascension will host ten teams from nine regional leagues: Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Italy, Portugal and Northern Europe.

In addition, one participant will be known from the Play-In stage, where second teams from represented regions will compete for the slot.

The group stage of the event takes place between June 30 and July 4. The play-offs will take place from July 13-16.
