Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major
The Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major is the second major of the current HCS season. The championship will take place from June 30 to July 2 in Arlington, Texas, United States of America. The venue for the event will be the world famous Esports Stadium Arlington.
The Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major will feature sixteen teams from around the world. Meeting in the United States, they will be offered a combined prize pool of $250,000 as well as precious ranking points.

Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major format
The Championship will begin with the Pool Play phase, the direct equivalent of the Group Stage. Here, sixteen teams will be divided into four quartets (four competitors in each).
Initially, the twelve seeded teams have been placed in their respective groups. Four more teams will be added to the group as they progress through the Open Qualification round of the major tournament.
The Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major group stage will be played in a round-robin format, with each team playing three BO5 matches.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the first round of the top flight, while the teams ranked third in their respective groups will advance to the first round of the bottom flight. In turn, the worst-ranked teams will leave the championship.
The Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major play-offs will be played in a Double-Elimination grid format. All matches, with the exception of the Grand Final, will be played in BO5. The Halo Championship will be played as a four-win BO7 showdown.

- BitterSweet (Australia).
Also the last four participants will be determined by Open Bracket results.
Halo Championship Series 2023: Arlington Major
The championship will be divided into two phases:
- Group stage (30 June).
- Play-offs (1-2 July).
In addition, there will be an Open Bracket event on June 30.
Prize money allocation
- 1 place: $100,000 + $100,000 points.
- 2nd place: $60,000 + 60,000 points.
- 3 place: $30,000 + 44,000 points.
- 4th place: $17,500 + 36,000 points.
- 5-6 place: $8,000 + 32,000 points.
- 7-8 place: $5,000 + 28,000 points.
- 9-12 place: $2,500 + 22,000 points.
- 13-16 place: $1,625 + 18,000 points.
