Yunara Abilities Leaked — Everything We Know So Far

The long-awaited champion Yunara is gradually getting more and more details revealed. In this blog, I’ve gathered everything currently known about her abilities, as well as the role she will play in the team.
Yunara Leaked Skills

The first details of Yunara’s abilities have already surfaced online, and most importantly — her role has been confirmed. Contrary to early assumptions, Yunara won’t be a support. We’re getting a full-fledged new ADC.
Here’s what we know about her abilities:
- Passive Ability: with every critical hit, the champion deals additional magic damage and applies an unknown effect to the target.
- Q — increases attack speed, and auto-attacks deal area-of-effect damage.
- W — throws a boomerang that slows enemies.
- E — grants invisibility for a few seconds and increases movement speed.
- R — boosts stats and significantly enhances ability effects.
Judging by this, she looks like a powerful late-game ADC with high mobility, strong AoE damage, solid escape tools, and magic-based damage. It’s almost certain that at launch she’ll be a high-priority pick or ban until Riot balances the numbers and cooldowns.
A Bit of Yunara’s Lore
Yunara comes from Ionia and is deeply connected to the Spirit Realm. Her story follows the path of a self-exiled priestess who, by a twist of fate, became sealed within the spiritual world. For her, this realm became both a home and a prison, filled with solitude and challenges. Over time, she learned to control the flow of spiritual energy, which directly influenced her combat abilities.

In the cinematic Spirit Blossom: Beyond, Yunara is shown meeting Xin Zhao, who becomes one of the first to make contact with her. This hints at her role in the broader Spirit Blossom storyline and possible connections to other Ionian champions.
Visually, Yunara embodies the aesthetic motifs of lotuses, lanterns, and soft natural tones — shades of blue, green, and gold. Her appearance fits seamlessly into the atmosphere of the Spirit Blossom event, continuing the overall style of this skin line.
Yunara is coming very soon
Yunara’s official release is scheduled for June 25, 2025, alongside patch 25.13, as part of the Spirit Blossom: Act II event. Yunara will launch with a skin from the "Spa Day" line, inspired by Japanese onsen culture. However, there are also rumors that she might receive a skin from the LoL Spirit Blossom 2025 collection, which already features many vibrant designs. This means that upon release, players will have access to both her default appearance and her first skin.
