The new trailer for Mafia: The Old Country reveals the “linear, narrative-driven” sequel set in 1900s Sicily, before the events of previous Mafia games. Releasing in the summer of 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, the game follows Enzo, a survivor of Sicily’s sulfur mines who joins Don Torrisi's crime family. Featuring grounded stealth and gunplay mechanics, it’s more aligned with Mafia 1 and 2 than the open-world Mafia 3. Mafia: The Old Country could easily pretend to be one of the best video games of 2025. The trailer opens the Mafia universe from the perspective of even earlier times of Italian-origin crime syndicates. A shot of a quiet murder in a theater box reminded me of the third Assassin’s Creed game, which also echoes the old times. However, the classic family initiation instills the overall atmosphere into the unique Mafia universe. This cinematic video has that spark, that thrilling feeling we love from the first two titles!

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Teaser

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds was announced at The Game Awards with a brief teaser showing Shadow the Hedgehog in a sleek black racecar with red accents, leaving a fiery trail. The portal glimpse suggests the game will feature dimension-hopping action, fitting the "CrossWorlds" title.

The franchise has been thriving with hit live-action movies, Sonic Frontiers, and Sonic X Shadow Generations, while 2024 has been a standout year for Shadow, starring in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and his own campaign in Shadow Generations, setting the stage for new video games 2025.

Okami Sequel aka Okami 2
