PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2 is one of the most anticipated Dota 2 tournaments of the year, taking place in Bucharest, Romania, at PGL Studio. The tournament will feature 16 teams from around the world competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000. The event kicks off on October 4, 2024, with the finals scheduled for October 13, 2024.

Tournament Format

The tournament will be divided into two stages:

Group Stage:

Dates: October 4-9, 2024
Format: Swiss system, with all matches played in a Best of 3 (Bo3) format. The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs, while the others will be eliminated.

Playoffs:

Dates: October 10-13, 2024
Format: Double elimination. All matches except for the finals will be played in a Best of 3 (Bo3) format, while the grand final will be played in a Best of 5 (Bo5) format.
