New Map Updates for Apex Legends Season 20
Elen StelmakhApex Legends Season 20 is getting a new battle royale map and its map rotations are somehow different from their predecessors. Leaks have shown the likely new map at Apex. One of the reputable leakers, Osvaldatore, posted several screenshots that showed the upcoming map, which shows players enjoying lots of neon. This upcoming map is called the District.
In an earlier conversation, the leaker claimed that the new map would be coming out towards the end of 2024. So, there is still a long way to go before it comes to your screens. These leaks are unofficial. However, Osvaldatore has a good record of accurately providing eSports predictions. In this particular game, he leaked the Evo armour changes in detail before the start of Season 20.
District Artistic Style
One thing that is clear is that the district has a distinct art style that looks different from other battle royale maps. It has several POIs that are shown in the lighting and neon lights. One that stands out is the Drydock Arcade, a large boat that comes with bright pink and blue lights. The boat looks awesome and has several areas where players can fight, among which are several rooftops.
Another POI in the leaks is the Electro Dam (a water dam), Blossom Drive (a residential district that has apartment buildings and hologram ads for Koala Kola), as well as City Hall (a city hall building that is brightly lit). All these structures are colourful and bright. In the nighttime, lights pop out, giving it an awesome look. If the leaks hold the truth, this district will be a fully urbanised map, different from others in the past, such as Olympus and World’s Edge.
If you are into eSports betting, you can put your cash on this game at any of the sportsbooks in the marketplace. Most casinos have sportsbooks and eSports sections where you can enjoy gaming. NZCasinoClub.com has a review of leading casinos and related information where you can get assistance.
Hillside Looks like Earlier Maps
Another POI released by Osvaldatore is Hillside. This map is similar to what you have seen in the past with Apex. It has buildings called Ginko Estates, statues, ziplines, fountains and a bridge. It will be the perfect challenge for any player trying their hands on the game.
Other teasers and leaks point to the new legend, called Alter. If the district indeed comes to season 22, it will always be a good welcome. However, the development team at Respawn might surprise players with a new map and release it even earlier than expected.
Map Rotation in Season 20
If you are one of the people who love to play on your favourite map, learn something about Apex Legends map rotation. A system decides which maps are in play and rotates them in different locations each day. Season 20 is a major change from the rest of the other Battle Royales. However, it ensures that no part of the map is forgotten for a long period.
With the map rotation system, you can check when your favourite mode will be up for grabs. You can pick an option from different modes, including pubs, mixtape and ranked. However, you will notice that the maps in use this season are not the same as those in the random Trios.
- Download Minecraft version 1.21 and 1.21.0: watch a sandstorm in the desert, search for an oasis, feed the jungle inhabitants with bananas, and much more! (69312)
- Does Decentralisation Bring More Security to Gamers? (250)
- Loot boxes - the new craze in the gaming industry (305)
- Rockstar Remastered Its PS2-era Grand Theft Auto trilogy (1608)
The custom games section gives you the chance to check out maps. However, if you wish to play live rounds with the lobby, stick to the Apex Legends map rotation. A few maps are different in their rotation. A few will appear in early May that are different from those of others. They include Broken Moon, Olympus and Storm Point.
Since each of the maps will become available at some point. World’s Edge has been updated for this season. However, it will not be available in the standard pub map rotation. That will be available in the ranked mode.
Mixtape Map Rotation
Mixtape has a different map rotation than the rest. You will get different maps depending on the mode that you are in. Here is an example: if you are in control mode, you will get the following:
- Storm Point: Barometer
- Broken Moon: Production Yard
- Thunderdome
On the other hand, if you go for the Gun Run, you get the following:
- World’s Edge: Monument
- King’s Canyon: Skulltown
- Thunderdome
The Three Best Game Maps
Among the three main maps, World’s Edge has been described as the best. For those who love long-distance combat, the mode has lots of space for you to transverse. On the other hand, if you love fighting in close quarters, there are several spots in Big Maude and Fragment where you can have your cake. On the other hand, if you prefer looting, there is also an abundance of loot everywhere.
On the other hand, Broken Moon is the newest map in this game. Players love it for the huge number of crannies and nooks to explore. This mode has zip lines at every other location, which helps promote fast-paced gameplay.
The third-best game is Storm Point. It falls between the two other modes discussed above. There are both open spaces and close quarter fighting locations. It has a vertical traversing map that makes travelling a lot easier.
