On March 21, the Marvel Rivals Invitational NA 2025 playoffs will kick off with two lower bracket matches, followed by two upper bracket matches.

Tournament Format – Marvel Rivals Invitational NA 2025
The tournament is held online, with 8 teams from North America participating.
The tournament consists of two main stages: the first is the Swiss Stage, and the second is the Double-Elimination Playoffs. After the first stage, the top four teams move to the upper bracket in the playoff bracket, while the bottom four go to the lower bracket.

All playoff matches will be played in a best-of-five series, while the grand final will be a best-of-seven series. If you're familiar with CS2 matches, the overall tournament format will feel very familiar to you.

After three days of matches, the teams had time to recover before the playoffs. The break between the two main stages of the tournament lasted for four days.
I expect to see FlyQuest and Sentinels in the final. However, 100T also looks like a very strong contender for a spot in the grand final.
Overall, the phenomenon of the record prize pool in the Marvel Rivals scene, happening for the second time, leads to predictions that the game, as an esports, will develop and possibly create competition in viewership for games like Valorant or Overwatch 2. However, it should not be expected that MR will reach the level of Dota 2 or Counter-Strike 2.
