All BF6 Available Maps – From Open Beta to Full Release

Battlefield 6 will launch with nine maps spread across the globe, but only a portion of them will be available in the open beta. During the early access period starting August 7, 2025, and in the first full weekend for all players from August 9–10, three maps will be playable: Iberian Offensive, Liberation Peak, and Siege of Cairo. These maps will return for the second weekend (August 14–17), joined by a fourth — Empire State.
All Battlefield 6 Maps in the Open Beta

The beta will feature four maps alongside game modes such as Conquest, Closed Weapon Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination, and King of the Hill, with Rush and Squad Deathmatch becoming available in the second week.
Iberian Offensive

The first of two maps set in Gibraltar and the larger of the two. Tanks are available here, with most of the fighting taking place in the city streets. One side of the map features a lush green area, contrasting sharply with the dark, smoke-filled sky that hangs over this otherwise idyllic island.
How to Play:
Hold elevated positions to gain better visibility and control enemy approaches. Use explosives to break through new paths or destroy enemy cover. Coordinated teamwork between infantry and light vehicles is key to capturing and holding chokepoints, breaking through defenses, and maintaining momentum on the battlefield.
Liberation Peak

One of the most scenic maps in Battlefield 6, set in the mountains of Tajikistan. Wide open spaces dominate the landscape with very few buildings, making aerial threats an especially dangerous element of the battlefield.
How to Play:
Always bring anti-air support to defend against helicopters and jets. Use elevated terrain for early spotting and better map control. Snipers excel on high ground, while infantry must move carefully from cover to cover to avoid becoming easy targets.
Siege of Cairo

Battles unfold in Egypt’s capital, where infantry and armored vehicles clash. Players can expect classic urban combat with dense construction and plenty of cover. A unique feature of the map is the ability to fire from inside half-destroyed buses, adding both atmosphere and tactical opportunities.
How to Play:
Stay mobile and make constant use of cover when moving between objectives. Infantry should stick to alleys and buildings to reduce the risk of coming under vehicle fire. Tank and armored vehicle operators are most effective when controlling the city’s open areas, blocking enemy flanks, and holding strategic routes.
Empire State

A New York map that became the fourth addition in the beta, available only during the second weekend (August 14–17). Those who missed the chance to try it then will be able to experience it at the full release of Battlefield 6.
How to Play:
Opt for SMGs or shotguns to feel confident in dense urban areas and narrow streets. Stick close to your squad when capturing objectives, as teamwork is especially important here. Use rooftops to set up ambushes and control enemy movement, but avoid staying too long in open streets where vehicles and snipers can quickly take you out.
All Battlefield 6 Maps After Launch
In addition to the four maps featured in the open beta, the full release will introduce five more, bringing the total number of maps to nine. There will also be four classes available, each suited to a different gameplay style. You can learn more about them in our blog Battlefield Classes: Find Out Each Class Available in BF6, where we’ve put together a full breakdown of all classes along with a guide on how to play them effectively and which players will benefit the most from each.
Operation Firestorm

The iconic map from Battlefield 3 makes its return in Battlefield 6. Designed for large-scale battles, it brings together infantry, ground vehicles, and air combat in one setting. The location is set in Iran, combining industrial complexes with vast desert landscapes.
How to Play: Vehicles should dominate the open desert, restricting infantry movement and applying pressure on key routes. Infantry squads are better off capturing and holding industrial areas, where plenty of cover provides defensive opportunities. Avoid staying in open terrain for too long — using buildings and warehouses will improve your chances of survival and create opportunities to launch counterattacks.
Saints Quarter

An infantry-focused map set in Gibraltar, featuring narrow streets and numerous turns. Shotguns and SMGs perform especially well here, allowing players to quickly react in close-quarters encounters.
How to Play:
Play aggressively and use grenades to clear corners and small rooms. Keep moving to avoid getting trapped, and make use of destructible cover to force enemies out of their positions. Team pressure and swift maneuvers are the keys to success on this map.
New Sobek City

This map is set on the outskirts of Cairo, combining construction sites with towering structures and sand dunes. Players will face large-scale battles involving infantry, tanks, and attack helicopters, where open areas are mixed with densely built-up sections.
How to Play:
Armored vehicles should take advantage of open terrain to pressure enemy defenses and quickly secure key objectives. Infantry, on the other hand, can effectively hold choke points by using scaffolding, barricades, and urban structures for ambushes and cover. Coordinated actions between ground forces and air support are crucial to gaining control of the map and maintaining the upper hand.
Mirak Valley

The largest Battlefield 6 map at launch. Here, the full range of vehicles is available — from tanks and armored vehicles to aircraft. The landscape resembles the battlefields of World War I and strongly evokes the atmosphere of Battlefield 1.
How to Play:
Infantry should use trenches and uneven terrain to move safely and stay protected from fire. Vehicles are most effective when coordinating attacks from multiple directions to break through enemy defenses and put pressure on key positions. Air control will be one of the top priorities: securing superiority in the skies allows your team to maintain the initiative and gives ground forces the room they need to maneuver.
Manhattan Bridge

The second map set in New York. Large-scale destruction is expected here, although it is not yet clear whether this will directly affect the bridge itself. The location combines wide streets with dense urban areas, creating many scenarios for both infantry and vehicle combat.
How to Play:
Armored vehicles should maintain control over the main roads and bridge approaches, restricting enemy movement and putting pressure on key directions. Infantry benefits from occupying upper floors of buildings, which provide vantage points for observation and ambushes against vehicles. Using side streets and alleys for flanking maneuvers can shift the balance of power and turn the tide of battle.
Thoughts on Battlefield 6 Maps
Battlefield 6 offers a diverse mix of arenas — from tight infantry skirmishes to sprawling vehicle battles — ensuring that every player can find a battleground suited to their playstyle. Mastery of the terrain is crucial: understanding elevations, choke points, and available cover provides a significant tactical advantage. That’s why trying out every map in the open beta isn’t just entertaining — it’s strategic preparation for dominating once the full game launches.
