Minnesota-based esports organization Version1, which owns the Minnesota Røkkr team, has announced it has signed a media rights partnership with digital media licensing provider ESPAT AI. Note that Version1 belongs to the owners of Minnesota Vikings, the Wilf family and investor Gary Vaynerchuk.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In accordance with the terms of the partnership, ESPAT AI will distribute images and videos of the Version1 Call of Duty, Rocket League and VALORANT teams exclusively through its platform. In addition, ESPAT AI will also supply images and videos at Version1 and Minnesota Røkkr personal events (when local and state laws permit).
Version1 and Minnesota Røkkr join a growing roster of esports organizations that have partnered with ESPAT AI, including the Misfits Gaming Group (Misfits Gaming, Florida Mutineers and Florida Mayhem), MAD Lions and Team Queso, and Talon Esports.
Note that at the end of February, ESPAT AI hired the former head of the National Football League and Major Football League Matt Hill as its new CEO.
