SEF reaches agreement with DreamHack Sports Games

The Swedish Professional Football League (SEF) has announced a long-term partnership with DreamHack Sports Games, a business arm of MTG, to strengthen the FIFA esports presence for eAllsvenskan.

This partnership will allow DreamHack Sports Games to help develop eAllsvenskan, which is part of the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series.

SEF represents 32 football clubs in Sweden's two best football divisions - 17 of which have active teams in the virtual league, eAllsvenskan.

DreamHack Sports Games is currently working on in Denmark with the eSuperliga, the Netherlands with eDivisie as well as European eTour. With the addition of the Swedish league eAllsvenskan, the organization strengthens its presence in the Scandinavian market.

DreamHack Sports Games was created to bridge the gap between traditional sports and their video game counterparts. More recently, DreamHack announced a partnership with HNL to host the World Championship, tentatively scheduled for March 2021.
