North American esports organization Cloud9 begins partnership with IMPS, the licensee for the Smurfs franchise. As a result of the partnership, Cloud9 will launch a new clothing collection influenced by the term "smurfing". The collection will include hoodies, t-shirts and jerseys, as well as accessories.
With a mix of colors and a sense of fun, Cloud9 and The Smurfs work together to inspire a sense of joy and nostalgia in fans as the collaboration pays homage to childhood classics, The Smurfs, and the Smurf story of Cloud9.
Cloud9 has also partnered with two well-known World of Warcraft players, enruki and Ziqo. An assortment of clothes and accessories in the style of Smurf is already available in the Cloud9 online store.
Along with the announcement of a new apparel collaboration, Cloud9 recently partnered with Serena Williams and expanded its partnership with Kingston FURY. Moreover, the esports organization is not the first to collaborate with cartoon characters in the context of the release of clothing collections. Over the past 12 months, Team Liquid has partnered with Naruto, and Team Vitality has teamed up with Adidas to launch the Dragon Ball Z sneaker.
