Welcome to EGamersWorld.
Our series of betting tips on BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 continues. The focus is on Stage 1, where 16 teams are playing for 8 spots in the next round of the Major.
Among the contenders for the next round are OG and Tyloo. Both teams are in the 1-1 bracket, so all the odds are in hand.
Let's try to make an accurate betting prediction in the match OG - Tyloo and predict which of the teams will go to the basket 2-1.
Let's go.
How the bookies view it: OG favourite
Before the main betting tips for the match between OG and Tyloo, let's get acquainted with the favourites of the game. OG are the favourites in this match.
OG victory is predicted by bookmakers. The odds for the victory of the European club are at around 1.6. As far as I am concerned, the reason for this is their opening game against Complexity, where OG dominated against the stage favourite - Complexity. However, there's no need to get ahead of ourselves, it was the opening bo1. Let's take a closer look at the teams.
OG form. What result can be expected from OG
Let's open the analysis of the match with a look at the OG form. They are considered the favourite, but here is a squeeze on OG's performance in recent years.
Before IEM Cologne 2023, OG failed miserably at last chance qualification for Gamers8, and finished in the top 12 at BLAST Premier: Fall 2023 Groups.
- OG roster: F1KU, ChBr1Zn, Buzz, Spooke, nicodoz.
Recent replacements in the form of FASHR, k1to and Regali joining the team a month ago are still not paying off. The Frenchman and the German have ratings below 0.89 and 0.94 and this is the worst among the team, which, however, does not shine with bright personalities.
Despite the dismal statistics of the players in recent months, in the first match against 9INE OG looked good, although they failed to get the win. They lost to the Poles on Overpass with a score of 17-19.
Cologne itself did not end well for the Europeans. OG lost to NaVi in the last chance set, and then prematurely left the championship.
After failing at a major event, OG took to playing everything. Mostly small tournaments: CCT Online Finals #2, CCT East Europe Series #1, Pinnacle Cup V, qualifiers for IEM Sydney 2023, Thunderpick World Championship 2023: European Series #2, and CCT Online Finals #3 with BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 2023 and CCT North Europe Series #8. I purposely didn't separate
these andVent and lumped them together, as everywhere on them OG dissolved. In the best case it was TOP-6, like at the qualifiers for IEM Sydney, and on average - TOP-8.
They also played at Roobet Cup 2023 where the team finished top-12. This was followed by the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 where the OGs pleasantly surprised by reaching the Top 4.
In the 2024 season, there were no high-profile results like Top 4 at BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. The maximum heights were Top 4 BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 and Top 4 at BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024. There were also lower class tournaments like Fall Groups 2024 with a top-8 and Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series #2.
We played Thunderpick World Championship 2024, where we finished in the top 4. This was just about the best result of the 2024 season.
In the 2025 season, OG continued to find themselves, as they call it. Among the landmark results, except for the victory at CCT Season 2 European Series #20.
BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 was held thanks to the victory at the European Qualification. Long Sogpeg started the tournament with a 13-3 win against CoL, but then lost to B8 in a 2-2 basket match.
Tyloo form. What result can be expected from OG
We continue the TYLOO vs OG match with the analysis of TYLOO form. In this match they play in the status of a clear Underpassdog, but the gap from OG is not big. The odds for Tyloo to win are somewhere around 2.2.
Compared to the likes of Lynn Vision and The MongolZ, Tyloo have not been very productive.
Among the big results, if you can call it that, is an appearance at ESL Pro League Season 19 and a subsequent top-28 finish there. In fact, it was the only TIR-S tournament Tyloo played in 2 seasons.
- Tyloo's roster: Attacker, JamYoung, Moseyuh, Mercury, Jee.
In the 2025 season, the team played in all sorts of local tournaments. There was an appearance, for example, at the eXTREMEMESLAND 2024 Championship with a prize pool of $100,000. There, Tyloo took TOP-8, which is not a good result if you want it to be.
From the relatively successful indicators - passing OPEN qualification at the Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025 in the Asian region, but then there were closed qualifiers and TOP-4, and therefore did not enter the tournament.
In addition, they performed at BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2024, where they showed a standard performance. TOP 8.
ESL Pro League Season 21 right from the start was one of the best tournaments in the club's history. The Chinese team outplayed 3DMax and Eternal Fire, which has already surpassed all expectations. In the match for the next stage they lost to GamerLegion. Then Ledge and MIBR, but in the decisive match they were stronger than FlyQuest, thus qualifying for the next stage. However, Tyloo did not manage to hold on to the high places: according to the results of ESL Pro League Season 21, the team finished in the top 16.
At BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, Tyloo made it through the Chinese qualification and finished in the top 2. Tyloo started the tournament with a loss to NRG, but beat Metizport.
Recent head to head: first-ever meeting
Technically, OG and Tyloo have played each other before, and even in official matches. However, that was back in 2021 and I will not rely on results from 4 years ago for our betting tips.
Players to watch: Nicodoz and Mercury
In the match between OG and Tyloo I will personally be watching Nicodoz and Mercury. The pair showed an incredible Long Corner at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, especially Nicodoz and his performance against CoL, and he played against B8 with a 1.20 rating, which is strong.
As for Mercury, he, like Nicodoz, jumped above his head, but only in one of the series, so there will be less hype around him than around the Dane.
Probable map picks
Considering the Bo1 format of the meeting, it is possible to see almost any map. However, both teams play Mirage well, so I think we'll see Mirage.

Predicted result of the match between OG - Tyloo at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025
In this match I agree with the bookmaker and will bet on the victory of OG. Although the bo1 format makes me uncomfortable, I don't see any alternative.
