PGL Major Krakow 2017

Only the best teams determined during the multiple qualifiers will pass to the championship. The half of the participants got the right to join the event receiving a direct invite. Other teams must play in the closed qualifiers scheduled on June 29 – July 2. PGL is the organizer of the event, also famous for holding such Dota 2 majors as The Manila Major 2016, The Boston Major 2016 and The Kiev Major 2017. PGL Major Krakow 2017 is one of the biggest CS:GO events in the history of esports. The prize pool for the tournament is $1,000,000. In Major tournaments, an interesting system of Legendary Status was introduced. According to this system, the teams that take 1-8 place in the tournament get a direct invite to the following Valve Major tournament. The teams taking 8-16 place of the tournament table get the direct invites to the closed qualifier to the next major tournament.
