Dmitriy «kickeed» Pilyaev is a professional Dota 2 player of Russian descent. The player began his esports activity in 2018. Since then, he has played in a few prestigious teams and demonstrated a high gaming level. We present to your attention kicked’s road to becoming an esportsman.
The beginning of the career
The team Marlerino eSports was the first team kickeed was playing for. It was a small club, with which kickeed spent a few tournaments. The 9th-12th place at X-Bet.co Rampage Series #3 was the best result for Marlerino.
Kickeed became a player of Imperial Pro Gaming in December 2018. The first results appeared with IPG. Despite they were not on a Major or The International level, however, it was progress for a young player. With IGP, kickeed became the champion of StarLadder ProSeries Season 25, Cyber Build, and Epulze Monthly Cup March 2019. Dmitriy stopped being a player of Imperial Pro Gaming in August 2019.
The team Mondus Unity was the next team, for which kickeed was playing.
Modus Unity and the first recognition
Despite kickeed did not become the champion of large tournaments, while playing for Modus Unity, he received the first recognition in this team. With Modus Unity, kickeed participated in various qualifiers for big tournaments. They included the qualifiers for Russian Esports Cup, DreamLeague Season, ESL One Los Angeles, and others. Also, there were a few small championships, at which kickeed with the team demonstrated good results. Including Mango Tango League Non-Pro Division A, at which the team placed second.
Modus Unity did not shine bright on the professional stage, however, they managed to draw attention. The representatives of Winstrike mentioned the roster in February 2020.
Winstrike and HR
The whole roster of Modus Unity moved under the colors of Winstrike in February 2020. The transfer showed decent results and kickeed with the teammates gained experience of competing in the higher-level tournaments. They included Parimatch League Season 2 where the team held 4th place, Epic Prime League Season 1 where the team finished fifth, Parimatch League Season 3 Round Robin where the team stopped in the fifth position. However, these results did not please the management of Winstrike.
Kickeed was moved to the inactive state in July 2020. However, it did not finish the player’s career. That month, the player placed third at Arena of Blood Season 2 on the roster of Team Empire and he moved to HellRaisers on a trial period in autumn 2020. The player has managed to hold the 12th-14th place at ESL One Germany 2020 with HR.
Kickeed has managed to earn more than 4,000 dollars of prize money in his career.
