Team Secret is a European multigaming organization. Initially, Secret was founded by professional Dota 2 players, however, it grew from a simple team to real multigaming. At the moment, the organization has Dota 2, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive rosters. In this material, we offer you to learn about the history of the CS:GO roster.
The first appearance
The history of Team Secret in CS:GO is unlike the history of other clubs in this discipline. The story of Team Secret’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster started in 2016. Being in the esports arena for the second year, the organization Secret planned to expand.
In 2016, there was the championship Intel Katowice Challenge, in which 8 female teams participated. The team WeRunThisPlace achieved victory at that tournament. After that, WeRunThisPlace became the main CS:GO roster of Team Secret.
The first version of the team included:

- vilga
- nylon
- mimimicheater
- zAAz
Nylon’s spot was taken by Ant1ka soon. With this line-up, Team Secret was playing till June 2017.
The achievements of Team Secret Female
The female roster of Team Secret was remembered by fans as one of the most successful teams in the discipline. Team Secret managed to win many tournaments, including Copenhagen Games 2016 Female Tournament, StarLadder Female Stars Championship, eSports World Convention 2016 Women, Intel Challenge Katowice – 2017, and Copenhagen Games 2017 – Female.
However, even the long winning streak did not stop Team Secret from its disbandment. The organization refused the female roster’s services in June 2017. After this decision, Team Secret disappeared from the competitive CS:GO scene till 2019.
Returning to the arena
Secret returned to the competitive CS:GO stage in November 2019. This time, the organization decided to believe in young male players. The first roster of the updated Secret consisted of the following players: juanflatroo, tudsoN, rigoN, sonnopsyy, and anarkez. The roster was changed later and rigoN and tudsoN’s slots were taken by PERCY and smF.
The achievements of the male Team Secret roster in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
The first results of the updated CS:GO roster of Team Secret appeared in 2020 when the familiar offline tournaments were replaced with online championships.
Only a few achievements can be noticed among the most significant ones. Team Secret placed 5th-8th at ESEA Season 33: Open Division – Europe, 2nd at #HomeSweetHome: Week 4, 3rd at ESEA Season 34: Advanced Division – Europe, and 3rd-4th at Legend Series Season 6.
During its existence, the CS:GO roster has earned more than 54,000 dollars of prize money for the organization.

The American businessman John Yao is the CEO of the company, SamE is a manager of the CS:GO roster, and PERCY is a captain at the moment.
