The first match of the game day started on the Ascent map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. At the same time, the players of FURIA Esports showed a confident start, as it seemed, having solved all the issues even before the change of sides — 9:3. However, in the second half, DRX managed to wake up and quickly catch up with the opponent, and then switch the game to overtime. Here the South Korean team managed to break the opponent and took the lead in the series — 16:14.
Next, the teams moved to the Haven map, which turned out to be the DRX's choice. Here, the struggle turned out to be much less, since the South Korean team immediately took the initiative into their own hands and did not leave the opponent a chance - 8:4. Well, after the switch of sides, FURIA Esports did not take a single round, thus allowing DRX to get their first victory in the championship — 13:4.
Recall that the day before, the Leviatán team beat Paper Rex with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they were the first to make it to the playoffs of the tournament.
