The first appearance
The CS:GO roster of OG emerged at the event dedicated to the Dota 2 roster changes in OG in December 2019. Having assembled the roster, OG used the formula, which brought them success at numerous championships: experienced players mixed with young performers are equal to maximum profits. Results
The recently-created roster of OG started playing at first tournaments almost immediately. One of these was cs_summit 2 where the team headed by Aleksib placed 3rd-4th.
The performance at ICE Challenge 2020 was the next appearance of OG. The team stopped on the 5th-6th position there. In February 2020, OG took part in the last offline tournament, which was BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season. The team finished 4th-6th there.
With the spreading of the coronavirus pandemic, OG continued performing online. In April 2020, the team held 6th place at ESL Pro League Season 11: Europe, after which it demonstrated pretty unsatisfying results for a few months. The team managed to stop a streak of failures in June and prevailed in the qualifiers for cs_summit 6 and DreamHack Open Summer 2020.
The team placed 3rd at cs_summit 6 Online: Europe and divided the 3rd-4th positions at DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Europe
In August 2020, the team showed not the most confident play at ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online – Europe, having held a 5th-8th place there.
OG played in the 12th season of the European division of ESL Pro League in September 2020. The team held a 9th-10th place there, however, it managed to rehabilitate a month later.
OG held 2nd place at Intel Extreme Masters XV – New York Online: Europe in October 2020. But the team also placed 7th at DreamHack Open Fall 2020 that month.
October was a real roller coaster month for OG in terms of their results. Because the team unexpectedly achieved victory at BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Regular Season where it defeated Natus Vincere at the end of the month.
The organization
Vladyslava Zakhliebina is a team manager who previously used to hold a similar position on the Dota 2 roster. Aleksib is a captain of the team and ruggah is a coach of the roster, he was signed in January 2020. N0tail is the CEO of the organization.
The CS:GO roster of OG has a few top sponsors: Socios.com, Red Bull, SteelSeries, and Secretlab. Since the creation, the CS:GO roster has earned more than 225,000 dollars of prize money for the organization.
