Riot Games announced the Valorant Conquerors Championship during the broadcast of VCT 2021: Masters Reykjavik, a South Asian tournament in partnership with NODWIN Gaming that will enable bp teams in the region to potentially qualify for the VALORANT Champions 2021 at the end of the year.
The championship will consist of six qualifying tournaments taking place in the South Asian region, which includes India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, as well as the Wildcard. Each region will have a certain number of slots and its own online qualifier matches, from where qualified teams will advance to the playoffs.
The winner of the tournament will receive a seat in the APAC Last Chance Qualifier, where they will play against other teams from Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia in October for a spot in VALORANT Champions 2021.
Note that the prize fund of the championship will be $ 33,000. The official start of registration for the tournament is June 15 at 2 pm ET.
