BaddyG joins FunPlus Phoenix

The coach of the FunPlus Phoenix team said that the leadership of the eSports organization decided to sign a contract with the sixth player of the Valorant roster and thus complete the roster for performances in upcoming tournaments. The choice of management fell on Kamil 'baddyG' Granichka. Prior to joining FunPlus Phoenix, the 20-year-old Valorant player was part of NOM Esports.

baddyG's career began in early 2021. It was then that he signed his first official contract with Ballista Esports. Before that, the esportsman played in various mixes and won low-level tournaments such as UMG Gaming Tournament - Europe #15 and x-kom AGO CUP 4, receiving $80 and $648 rewards there. With Ballista Esports, the player managed to win VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Challengers 3 and earn $10,430 there. As part of the same team, baddyG took 7th-8th place in the VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters, for which he received $5,000 with the team. Later, the path of Kamil Granichka passed through such clubs as Excel Esports, Team Finest and Alliance, but he did not stay anywhere, being there only as a substitute or a player on probation. In the period from August to November 2021, he was in HEET, and then played in NOM Esports. Before joining NOM, he won the BeChampions Tour - BeContender #3 and earned $1,470 in the QuesoHeetRiders mix. As part of the NOM, success was not achieved. Now the Singaporean's career will continue in the ranks of FunPlus Phoenix, however, as a substitute player.

FPX Esports are now participating in VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers. There they are in Group A with teams such as Team Liquid, Gambit Esports, Natus Vincere, LDN UTD and BIG. At the time of writing the material, the team is the only one that has not been defeated in its group. The team defeated Gambit Esports and BIG with a score of 2-1.
