The Blue Box Game studio has presented a horror game with elements of a survival simulator called Abandoned. The first details of the upcoming project appeared on the PlayStation blog.
The plot revolves around Jason Longfield, who wakes up in a strange forest. Abandoned and not remembering how he got there, Jason soon learns that he was kidnapped and brought there with a dark purpose. Fighting for his survival, his main goal is to escape.
According to the developers, the game will be very realistic, for example, shooting accuracy will be greatly reduced if the main character is out of breath while running.
Abandoned is slated for release in Q4 2021. The game will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 5. The developers promise to make the most of the console's features, including surround sound and tactile feedback from the controller.
