After the completion of Dota Pro Circuit Season 2, Natus Vincere were unable to achieve the expected results. The team did not make it to WePlay AniMajor 2021, which will be held in Kiev, where, by the way, the headquarters of "Born to Win" is located. This prompted the management to make changes in the roster, and the management decided to exclude from the roster the two weakest links in the team. In an official statement, it was said that such a result significantly worsened the atmosphere within the team, which, as everyone knows, was not full of friendliness.
Natus Vincere announced SoNNeikO's intentions to skip the upcoming championship due to the fact that "he does not see the prospect of taking a high place and earning enough DPC points for a direct invite to TI 10", and since his departure, Vladimir did not see his place in Gambit No[o]ne 'Minenko. Thus, the NAVI management decided to attract these esportsmen to play under the Natus Vincere tag.
SoNNeikO will play for NAVI for the fourth time. The issue of further cooperation with the player will be considered after the qualifications for The International 2021 are completed.
Comments by Alexey 'xaoc' Kucherov, Chief Operating Officer of NAVI:
In Dota, the working atmosphere within the team plays an important role. Despite replacing before the start of the season and trying to keep what was already built by then, we were unable to show good results and return the team to normal. After a discussion with the guys, it became clear that the roster in its current form would definitely not be able to play further and changes were needed.
Many thanks to Bogdan and Andrey for their dedication, fruitful work and positive emotions.
No[o]ne is a great player with good motivation, and SoNNeikO is one of the most talented leaders in the CIS. The guys had a chance to play in the Wildcard stage of the Major tournament, but they decided to focus on training with the world's top teams, while there is an opportunity to play with them on European servers. They are burning with their purpose, which is impressive.
I am very happy to join NAVI. For me, these are not just ordinary words. Together with the rest of the roster and with the support of a strong organization, we really want to achieve the best results.
It was this logic that dictated my decision. I really hope for the support of #navination and everyone who cares about CIS DotA!
SoNNeikO was not that verbose. On the official website, his comment contains two words:
