Match Prediction: TyLoo - FaZe | CS2 (CS:GO)
FACEIT Major: London 2018The teams faced for the last time at IEM Sydney 2018 at the beginning of May this year and then, the guys from FaZe Clan were stronger, however, it’s not worth to consider this result as too much time has passed by the esports standards and the shape of teams changed long ago.
TyLoo is in a great shape, which is reflected by their 12th place in the world rate. Over the last few months, the team managed to place second at Asia Minor Championship - London 2018 and Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Shanghai and also stopped on the 3rd-4th place at CS:GO Asia Championships 2018. At New Challengers Stage, the team lost to NiP and OpTic Gaming but beat Gambit eSports, Renegades, and Team Spirit, which guaranteed them an advancement to the next stage. The guys were stronger than MiBR in the first match of FACEIT Major: London 2018 - Legends Stage, after which they were not able to prevail over BIG and HellRaisers and is on the brink of elimination now.
FaZe Clan has clearly lost their shape recently because they hadn’t managed to enter the top four at the last two championships - the guys finished ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018 on the 7th-8th place and the roster placed 5th-6th at DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018. In the first match of New Legends Stage, NiKo and the company were defeated by BIG, after which lost to Natus Vincere and beat Mousesports. It’s worth to notice that NiKo and the company have been gaining momentum at the championship and look more dangerous now than on the first gaming day.
Bookmakers consider FaZe Clan to be a favorite of the match and offer odds for their victory in the sum of 1.4, while TyLoo’s triumph is evaluated as 3. We also think that the European mix has more chances to win but we don’t fully agree with such a difference in the odds, especially in a bo1 match.
