The teams faced for the last time at ELEAGUE Major 2018 Main Qualifier and then, G2 eSports was stronger who beat its opponent with a score 16:19.
Vega Squadron had “disappeared” from the competitive scene after ELEAGUE Major 2018 and hasn’t had decent results for almost half a year. In autumn, the team gained a good shape due to participation in FACEIT Major 2018 and placed second at StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6 and Bucharest Gaming Week Invitational, after which “disappeared from radars” again.
2018 can’t be called successful for G2 eSports too because they entered the top four only at PLG Grand Slam 2018 that year. Two new players and a coach joined the team in November the last year and this hasn’t brought results yet.
Bookmakers consider G2 eSports to be an obvious favorite of the match but we aren’t of their opinion because the French play hasn’t impressed at all recently and Vega Squadron knows how to prepare for opponents and to surprise them, so we think that the chances are equal.
We would not recommend betting on the victory of any of the teams, however, you can pay your attention to the markets “the rounds handicap +3.5 for Vega Squadron” with the odds 1.75 and “the total rounds are more than 26.5” with the odds 1.8.
