trace will remain the head coach of Astralis

The Danish esports organization Astralis announced the continuation of cooperation with trace, which will lead the club's main team in the CS:GO discipline. At the same time, the management of the organization decided to part ways with ave, appointing MODDII as the head coach of Astralis Talent.

Astralis' Counter-Strike teams have shown promising results in recent months. During this period, trace acted as the team's coach, and this decision has now become permanent.

In January, Martin Heldt was invited for Astralis Talent. He led a team with a strong foundation and demonstrated the ability to create results from day one. Therefore, it was only natural that we allowed him to lead the main team in the period leading up to the main qualification, where we needed an understudy. He did it with great success.

Martin has come in with the authority and clarity needed in a team with big names and personalities, and under his leadership we are starting to see some of the energy and confidence that we at Astralis must always stand for. This is felt both on the server and in the office, and we are approaching the pinnacle that we always strive for in Astralis. I am very pleased that we have come to a permanent agreement with Martin.

trace became the head coach of the Astralis first team in March. In two months, the 31-year-old Danish specialist helped the team qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022, as well as take second place in BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022.

At the same time, MODDII became the head coach of Astralis Talent, replacing ave. This is the first coaching experience for the 32-year-old Swede, who has had an eventful playing career with Fnatic, SK Gaming and Heroic.

From now on, the Astralis roster looks like this:
