Rumor: Patsi can replace SANJI in Virtus.pro

In one of the recent streams, insider Alexei "Overdrive" Biryukov announced that Patsi will replace SANJI in Virtus.pro. At the same time, it is not reported when exactly the replacement will take place.

Patsi is currently playing for Team Spirit Academy. Recall that at the beginning of 2021, the 18-year-old player moved to Spirit, where he never managed to gain a foothold. As a result, the player was sent to the youth team, with which he took second place in BLAST Rising 2021 and IronWar, and also won the EVOLSTAR CIS Cup.

Rumors about SANJI leaving Virtus.pro have been appearing for several months. At the end of August, it was reported that the player would leave the team after the RMR cycle, or, if Virtus.pro gets to the PGL Major, after the end of the championship.

Recall that SANJI has been playing for Virtus.pro since December 2019, when he and his roster moved from the AVANGAR camp. For almost two years with the team, the 22-year-old has won Flashpoint Season 2, DreamHack Open December 2020, cs_summit 7 and Pinnacle Fall Series # 1, and also took second place in the Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship.

The possible Virtus.pro roster looks like this:
