French esports organization Team Vitality has announced a partnership with electronics manufacturer Samsung. As a result, Samsung will become the official TV partner of all Team Vitality esports teams using TVs. These include Fortnite, Rocket League and FIFA rosters. Samsung and Team Vitality will also work together on content creation.
Nicholas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality: "I am very pleased and honored that Samsung has joined the Team Vitality family. As we strive for the best, Samsung TVs were the obvious choice given the excellence of their Neo QLED, making them the perfect reference point for our fans and gaming communities in general.
Samsung has recently become very active in the esports industry, taking advantage of its large portfolio of products including smartphones, smartwatches, displays and TVs. The partnership with Team Vitality will be based on the Neo QLED QN90B TV series.
Guillaume Raoult, Vice President Consumer Electronics at Samsung Electronics France: "Samsung is committed to offering the best TV experience, regardless of the type of content the consumer is viewing. Gaming is definitively ingrained in society when you consider that 49% of French gamers also play on TV."
Note that recently Team Vitality entered into a partnership with Philips Monitors - the company has become the official supplier of monitors for the organization. In addition, the French club has partnered with Secretlab, Crédit Agricole and adidas.
