WePlay Academy League Season 5
Matches of the fifth season of WePlay Academy League continue. The total prize fund of the championship is $100,000, and 13 teams are currently participating in it, including NAVI Junior, MOUZ NXT, Fnatic Rising, OG Academy and others.

The tournament started on July 25 and will end on August 14. The teams battle it out for the championship title and the $45,000 main prize. Vice-champion and bronze medalists will receive $20,000 and $15,000 respectively. After the group stage, the teams will advance to the playoffs with a double-elimination bracket. The matches of the final stage will be held in Bo3 format.
Dota 2
PGL Arlington Major 2022
The last Major tournament of the Dota Pro Circuit Season 2021/2022, PGL Arlington Major 2022 starts on August 4 and ends on August 14. The event will take place at Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas, USA. The total prize fund of the championship will be $500,000. 17 teams will compete for the title of champion and a reward of $200,000 + 820 Dota Pro Circuit points. The runner-up and bronze medalists will receive smaller, but still big prizes: $100,000 + 740 DPC points and $75,000 + 670 DPC points.
Initially, not 17, but 18 participants were supposed to take part in the tournament, however, Xtreme Gaming faced insurmountable visa problems and had to miss the event because of this. Many other teams will perform in incomplete lineups for a similar reason. Fnatic, for example, will play with three replacements at all.

As for the format of the tournament, the teams were seeded into two groups in which they will play Bo2 matches. The four best teams from each group will go to the playoffs, while the teams that take 5th-6th places will advance to the lower bracket. The rest of the rosters will leave the competition. The playoffs will be held in a double-elimination bracket. All matches except for the grand final will be held in the Bo3 series. The decisive match will take place in a series of up to three victories.
Valorant
VRL Finals 2022
The world of Valorant is hosting an important championship with a prize pool of €150,000. It is divided into 7 rosters: Case Esports, Team Vitality, Excel Esports, TENSTAR, Team Falcons, FUT Esports and Angry Titans. TENSTAR, Team Falcons and Excel Esports have already finished their fight in this championship. It remains to distribute among the participants of the top 4 in the standings. Case Esports, Team Vitality, FUT Esports and Angry Titans are vying for the €50,000 top prize. Vice-champion and bronze medalist will earn €35,000 and €20,000 respectively.
The group stage has already been completed and the top four teams have been determined. Case Esports will face Angry Titans in the playoffs, while FUT Esports will play Team Vitality.
League of Legends
Summer split LPL, LCK, LEC, LCS
The world of League of Legends also has plenty of exciting events to keep you entertained this week. The matches of the summer split of various leagues are still going on. In this article, we will talk about the largest of them: LPL, LCK, LEC and LCS.
LPL Summer 2022
The Chinese League of Legends has 17 participants who share a total prize pool of ~$620,000. All prize money will be distributed among the top six rosters. The winner will receive ~$295,000 while the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams will earn ~$150,000 and ~$75,000. The teams that will take 5-6 positions will become the owners of prizes in the form of $30,000. The winner, by the way, will not only earn the main prize of $295,000, but will also become the owner of an invite to the 2022 World Championship. LPL Summer 2022 participants include LGD Gaming, EDward Gaming, Invictus Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, JD Gaming and others.
LCS Summer 2022
The American League has a prize fund 3 times smaller than the Chinese League, but it cannot be called less important in value. Riot Games has allocated as many as three invites to the 2022 World Championship for teams in the Korean segment. The prize distribution will be implemented as follows: the winner will earn $100,000 and an invitation to the World Championship, the runner-up and bronze medalist will receive $50,000 + an invitation to the 2022 World Championship and $30,000 + an invitation to the 2022 World Championship, and the fourth-place team will earn $20,000 and remain without an invitation to the 2022 World Championship. Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves have already secured their place in the playoffs. It will be interesting to watch Immortals and Dignitas, who are at the very bottom of the standings. By the way, they will fight each other this Saturday and close the first game day of the seventh week.
LCK Summer 2022
In the Korean league of League of Legends, a prize pool of $290,000 will be distributed between the teams, and only one participant will receive the coveted invite to the 2022 World Championship. Ten participants take part in the league, including Brion Esporrts, DAMWON Gaming, DRX, Freecs, Gen.G Esports, Hanwha Life Esports and others.

LEC Summer 2022 is one of the most iconic events in the world of League of Legends. 10 teams take part in the European league, which are fighting for 4 invites to the 2022 World Championship, sharing a total prize pool of €200,000 among each other. The winner will take €80,000 + an invite to the 2022 World Championship, the vice-champion will take €50,000, and the bronze medalist will receive a reward of €30,000 and an invitation to the World Championship. The same privilege, as mentioned earlier, will be awarded to the fourth-placed team, but that team in turn will earn €20,000. The teams ranked 5th and 6th will win consolation prizes of €12,500 and €7,500.
