Biography fer
Fernando «Fer» Alvarenga is a representative of the new school of the Brazilian Counter-Strike. Fernando started to pursue an esportsman career in 2011. Beginning of Career
Fernando started to play Counter-Strike when he was pretty young. His career began in Counter-Strike 1.6. This was the game where fer joined his first team in June 2011. It was Action Team eSports. Having played for the team for a while, he left the team and got to rampageKillers. But the esportsman did not spend a lot of time there. The nest team for Fernando was SUAP.
As Counter-Strike 1.6 was not really successful for the gamer, Fernando joined Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The first CS:GO team for fer was PlayArt. Having played for the Brazilian team for three months, the gamer joined Afterall Gaming in June 2013. After that, the gamer played at KaBuM! e-Sports, Gamers Academy, and KaBuM.TD. None of the team helped Fernando realize his ambitions and achieve the top of the competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In 2015, the player moved to Keyd Stars. Five months later, Fernando left the team and joined Luminosity Gaming
First Success
Luminosity Gaming became a starting point of Fernando’s career. This team helped fer to assert himself and show his level of the game to his full extent. As part of Luminosity, Fernando became the champion of two prestigious tournaments: World Championship 2016, MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016 and ESL Pro League Season 3. Despite the great results, Fernando and his teammates left Luminosity Gaming and passed to SK Gaming.
SK Gaming
Playing for SK Gaming may be called the peak of Fernando’s career. This team helped fer to cement the title of one of the best gamers on the planet. In SK Gaming, Fernando became the champion of six major S-class championships including World Championship 2016 – ESL One: Cologne 2016 where SK Gaming beat the North American organization Team Liquid. Two years of playing for SK later, fer and the team became MIBR players.
MIBR and Individual Awards
After moving to MIBR, the results were much more unpretentious. The team has become the champion of minor tournament several times. His champion status at ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 and the second place at Flashpoint Season 1 turned out to be the brightest achievements for the gamer. Nevertheless, Fernando’s results in MIBR do not offset the fact that he is one of the best gamers.
In his career, Fernando earned over 1 000 000 dollars. Fernando twice got to Top-15 gamers according to HLTV, finishing third in 2017. Also, he was acknowledged as the best gamer at Esports Championship Series Season 3 – Finals.
